The Directors of Regal Moving & Storage Limited are pursuing a policy to promote health and safety at work and seek the full co-operation of all employees, sub-contractors and visitors for that purpose. The company will provide working conditions which comply with the relevant statutory requirements and industry approved codes of practice that are designed to ensure the highest standards of Health and Safety in the workplace.
The company operates in areas of risk where injuries may occur, it is the board of directors objective, as a part of a programme of continual improvement, to monitor and reduce the incidence of injury to an absolute minimum.
Particular regard will be paid to the following: -
Ensuring Risk Assessments are carried out and periodically reviewed.
Ensuring that all personnel having access to the workplace, including sub-contractors and visitors, are made aware of their responsibilities regarding their own health and safety and the health & safety of others.
To ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that appropriate control measures are put into place to improve the health and safety environment.
Provide information, instruction and supervision to enable all employees to contribute to their own health and safety.
Providing safe arrangements for the use, handling, storage and movement of materials and substances working to all COSHH requirements.
Providing welfare facilities, Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) and benefits, as far as is reasonably practicable.
Providing safe means of access and egress from places of work, which are under the company’s control.
Providing the opportunities for regular consultation between the company’s representative and employees for monitoring health and safety.
