Sea freight is the most cost-effective option for a full household move, typically taking several weeks depending on the destination. Air freight is faster, usually days rather than weeks, but costs more per volume, so it suits smaller shipments or moves where timing is tight.

Sea freight runs to the shipping line's sailing schedule rather than a daily departure, so your container joins the next available vessel. Once it arrives, port processing and customs inspection add further time before delivery. Because sailing frequency and port processing speed vary by destination, we confirm a realistic window once we know your route and shipping line.

Most destinations need a detailed packing list, an inventory of goods, and shipping documentation such as a bill of lading. Some countries, Australia among them, apply strict biosecurity checks on items like wooden furniture or outdoor equipment.
